Mark Your Calendar:

• On Friday, September 27th students will participate in a “field day” whole-class reward. Please wear  sneakers! 

What We're Learning:

Reading: We will learn about main idea and details with our story, "Exploring Space with an Astronaut". We will learn about character and setting with our story, "Henry and Mudge and the Starry Night". 
Spelling: We will be focusing on words with consonant blends. Our spelling test will be on Tuesday, October 1st. 
This week's spelling list is:

Writing: We will finish writing personal narratives "all about me" and begin drafting a "how to" writing piece.

Homework: Complete and sign fluency passage "Cheese". Don't forget to read it twice!
