  • We will have a math quiz on Thursday, 2/27/20, on telling time to the hour. Please review at home.
  • March Scholastic Book Orders will be sent home this week. All orders are due on Friday, 3/13/20. 

What We're Learning:

Reading:  We will learn about comparing and contrasting with our story, "Anansi Goes Fishing".
Spelling: We will be focusing on words that follow an i, ie, igh, y pattern.  Our spelling test will be on Wednesday, March 4th, 2020.

Writing: We will write an informational book about an arctic animal! 
Math: We will create, organize, and represent mathematical ideas related to telling time with independent work centers. 
Social Studies: We will learn about the presidents, specifically Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

Homework: Complete and sign fluency passage "Beth Gets a Snack". Don't forget to read it twice! Study and review spelling list. Spelling words can be found on the weekly newsletter and the Read Review Remember Sheet in your child's red Take Home Folder.  Complete math worksheet.

Tuesday, February 25th - Day 7 Music
