Mark Your Calendar

  • We will have a math quiz on telling time to the 5 minutes/drawing hour and minute hands on an analog clock on Tuesday, 3/17/20.
  • We will have our math unit test on telling time on Friday, 3/20/20. Students need to know:
    • Tell time on an analog clock to the nearest 5 minutes, draw hands on a clock, and elapsed time questions. Please review with your child at home! 
  • Friday 3/20/20 will be a Spartan dress down day with a $1.00 donation. 

What We're Learning:

Reading:  We will learn about sequence of events with our story, "Rosa and Blanca".
Spelling: We will be focusing on words that have comparative endings -er, -est.  Our spelling test will tentatively be on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.

Writing: We will write an informational book about an arctic animal! 
Math: We will create, organize, and represent mathematical ideas related to telling time with independent work centers. 
Social Studies: We will learn about landforms.
