• We will tentatively have a math quiz on telling time to the quarter hour on Thursday, 3/12/20.
• We will have a grammar quiz on past, present, and future tense verbs on Friday, 3/13/20.
• March Scholastic book orders are due on Friday, 3/13/20. 

What We're Learning:

Reading:  We will learn about sequence of events with our story, "Rosa and Blanca".
Spelling: We will be focusing on words that have comparative endings -er, -est.  Our spelling test will tentatively be on Tuesday, March 31st, 2020.

Writing: We will write an informational book about an arctic animal! 
Math: We will create, organize, and represent mathematical ideas related to telling time with independent work centers. 
Social Studies: We will learn about the presidents, specifically Abraham Lincoln and George Washington.

Homework: Complete and sign fluency passage "Satchel's Nickel". Don't forget to read it twice! Study and review spelling list. Spelling words can be found on the weekly newsletter and the Read Review Remember Sheet in your child's red Take Home Folder.  Complete math worksheet.
